Facing Hard Times

My dear Friend... See, we are in a fallen world, what is that mean? that it fell under the hands of Lucifer, the evil one, and as you know, we who are Children of the Most High, are under constant attacks from the forces of evil.

Eph 6:12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 

Many times we don’t understand what is going on, and of course, sometimes we feel like crying, but at these times is when I remember what our God told us…

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 

Especially when we go through difficult times, believing that we are going to come out victorious from these difficulties with a great breakthrough, is a test of our faith. We see the trial and the difficulty, whether it be a difficult financial situation, a sickness, an accident or a problem a loved one is going through, whatever, but God that knows the future, sees us coming out victorious and having been strengthened by whatever whatever we went through.

As we read… Jas 1:2  My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into different kinds of temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith works patience. But let patience have its perfect work, so that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing. 

That is an interesting quote… “lacking nothing”!

Also… 1Pe 1:3-7  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has regenerated us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in Heaven for you by the power of God, having been kept through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;  in which you greatly rejoice, yet a little while, if need be, grieving in manifold temptations;  so that the trial of your faith (being much more precious than that of gold that perishes, but being proven through fire) might be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Wow… let’s think about this… we have been regenerated and have been promised an incorruptible… glorious inheritance, which we will have all eternity to rejoice in..!

But we have also been told to… Php 4:4-6  Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice! Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 

So when we ask God for something, we are to do it with “thanksgivings” which means thanking the Lord for what we have asked, knowing that it is coming our way, as it is an attitude of faith what most pleases the Lord. Heb 11:6

And again… 1Th 5:16-23  Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophesying. Prove all things, hold fast to the good. Abstain from every appearance of evil. And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Well that is a lot longer to talk about… Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophesying. I have already written about that these themes in some of the pubs here, but know that God loves you and I keep you in my prayers… Blessings… 🤗😘😍🌹🙏🏻
